Husk Gallery is delighted to announce the third solo show with German artist Inge H. Schmidt in its gallery space.
Silent Landscapes of Flow and Frost shows recent work by Inge H. Schmidt, inspired by her extensive travels and her ongoing observations of river and frozen landscapes. In these environments, movement, silence and light determine the spatial experience. By focusing on subtle chromatic shifts and formal rhythms, her latest series explores the tension between flow and stillness. Seasonal transformations – from liquid water to ice and snow – are a central theme here. These temporary states reveal a sense of tranquillity and retrained beauty, with Inge H. Schmidt inviting the viewer to share in a concentrated and contemplative observation.
Opening Sunday 11 January 2025
Welcome from 2 to 7 pm in the presence of the artist
