Husk Gallery is pleased to present Human Nature, the first duo show in the gallery with Ulrike Bolenz and Inge H. Schmidt.
Over the past three decades German artists Ulrike Bolenz and Inge H. Schmidt have created a legacy of powerful artworks. The duo exhibition confronts both artists for the first time and features their thematic crossovers and extraordinary artistic skills, their amazingly persistent drive and long career in a constantly changing art world. Influenced by the neo-expressionism movement in German painting of the 1980s, Bolenz and Schmidt have developed a specific style and iconography that is rooted in the figurative tradition.
